SUMMARY:Serpentine Barrens Tour with Willistown Township
DESCRIPTION:Join Natural Lands and our partners Willistown Township staff to learn about this unique ecosystem. \nWe’ll be taking a guided tour of the Serpentine Barrens at Serpentine & Willisbrook Preserves\, hosted by expert Willisbrook Preserve Manager Erin Smith. Designed for Willistown Township residents and neighbors\, this tour introduces the rare ecosystems that come alive each autumn with unique native plants and wildlife. Erin will share the geological history of the barrens\, highlight the specialized species that depend on it\, and discuss ongoing conservation efforts for this important natural habitat. \nFor ages 12 and up. Space is limited – participants must be comfortable walking along wooded trails. Please leave your four-legged friends at home. \nRain date: Monday\, October 12. \nPark at the gravel lot prior to the soccer fields at 110 Line Road\, Malvern.
