Join fellow volunteers in removing invasives\, nurturing native plants\, or restoring habitat. Projects vary\, but good fun (and dirt) is guaranteed! Natural Lands cares for more than 23\,000 acres and 120 miles of trails\, and we couldn’t do it without volunteers like you. \nVolunteering with Natural Lands is a great way to learn more about the natural world\, give your time to a great cause\, and connect with enthusiastic\, like-minded people. \nThe health and safety of staff and volunteers is our highest priority during this volunteer event. Please review “before you go” details. \nCapacity is limited for this small-group event\, and pre-registration is required. If you sign-up\, please plan to participate. If you need to cancel\, please let us know so another volunteer can attend. All are welcome\, ages 12 and up. Minors under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult parent/guardian. This hands-on program is perfect for anyone looking to capture the beauty of the smallest wonders in nature\, from delicate flowers to buzzing insects. \nBeginning with a presentation on the fundamentals of macro photography\, Valerie will cover essential techniques. After the introduction\, we’ll head outside and dive right in. Valerie will demonstrate\, offering tips and tricks for getting the perfect shot. You’ll have the chance to explore and practice your new skills while Valerie walks around to provide individualized assistance and answer any questions. \nOpen to beginners or those with some experience in photography\, this workshop is an exciting opportunity to learn new skills and gain confidence in your macro photography. \nAbout the instructor:  \nBased out of southeast Pennsylvania\, Valerie is an avid landscape\, wildlife\, architecture\, and real estate photographer and photography instructor. Photography has been her passion for the past 50+ years.
