DESCRIPTION:Connect with the wonders of nature—and share the magic you see through your lens. \nNatural Lands invites photographers of all skill levels to participate in the second annual “Through the Wild Lens” photo contest\, celebrating the beauty\, biodiversity\, and serenity of Mariton Wildlife Sanctuary in Easton\, PA. Whether it’s a fleeting moment of wildlife\, a quiet landscape\, or a close-up marvel of the forest\, we want to see what makes Mariton special to you. \nWhat we’re seeking: \nSubmit a single\, original photo that reflects your unique connection to Mariton. Themes may include (but aren’t limited to): \n\nLandscape photography\nWildlife in action\nMacro and detail photography\nEnvironmental storytelling\n\nLet your lens tell the story of Mariton’s wild\, subtle\, and serene spirit. \nShowcase & Celebration: \nSelected photographs will be featured in a special gallery exhibit along the trails of Mariton\, online\, and across our social media platforms. The overall winning photo will receive special recognition and will be framed and displayed at the Nature Center for a limited time. \nWe’ll celebrate with an Open House Showcase in early summer 2027 (date/time TBD)\, where photographers\, community members\, and nature lovers are invited to enjoy the exhibit and connect with others inspired by the sanctuary. \nDeadline to Submit: Saturday\, February 13\, 2027 (midnight) \nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:Join our partners at PlayIn Time Productions for a weekly\, interactive musical program geared toward children up to age five and their parents or caregivers. Instructor Miss Virginia will guide you and your child through warming up their bodies with movement\, practicing listening skills using activities like freeze dances\, and jamming to classic and new tunes. PlayIn Time’s Music Circles build musical connection and community through shared fun. Get ready to dance\, jam\, and learn.  \nThings to know:   \n\nClasses will run on Friday mornings from 10:15am – 11:00am.  \n\n\nJoin for the whole series or just for one or two sessions. Registration is available on PlayIn Time’s website\, linked below.  \n\n\nIf you have them\, you are welcome to bring your own shakers\, sticks\, or other percussive instruments.  \n\n\nClasses will be held outside on the Great Lawn so bring a blanket or lawn pad to sit on.  \n\n\nPlease note that\, while the program is geared toward younger ages\, siblings ages 6 and older are welcome and can attend free of charge.\n\n		\n			register now		\n\n

SUMMARY:Friday Organ Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Organ Historical Society (OHS) and Natural Lands present Friday Organ Concerts in the Main House at Stoneleigh. Join us for noontime concerts this spring featuring Stoneleigh’s mighty Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ. Local organists will perform a selection of sweeping musical pieces surrounded by the elegant beauty of the Tudor-revival style home. Come for the music and stay for the beauty of the garden sure to be in bloom in all its springtime glory.   \nAbout the organist: \nOrganist Margaret “Meg” Harper has been hailed by The Diapason magazine for her “impeccable” playing and by the Boston Musical Intelligencer for “outstandingly lively\, punchy” performances. Croatian newspaper Glas Slavonije writes\, “The freezing cold of a January evening dominated the cathedral in Djakovo\, but it could not diminish the richness and warmth of sound brought out of the cathedral organ by Margaret Harper.” \nMeg currently serves as the Director of Music at Trinity Episcopal Church in Princeton\, New Jersey.  At Trinity\, she oversees one of the landmark Episcopal music programs in this country\, including multiple choirs that have released many critically acclaimed recordings over the years.  Before coming to Trinity\, Meg served parishes in New York\, New Hampshire\, and Texas. She has taught organ\, harpsichord\, and keyboard skills at Baylor University\, the University of Southern Maine and the Eastman School of Music. Meg holds a DMA and a Performer’s Certificate from the Eastman School of Music. \nMeg is a passionate advocate for new music and has presented premiere performances of new works by composers including Cecilia McDowall\, George Baker\, Philip Moore\, Todd Wilson\, and many others. She has served in leadership roles for the Association of Anglican Musicians\, the Royal School of Church Music – America\, and the American Guild of Organists.
