SUMMARY:Volunteer - Love our trees\, please
DESCRIPTION:Love nature and want to lend her a helping hand? Grab gloves and join fellow volunteers in straightening tree tubes and cutting invasive vines to nurture young trees. Good fun (and dirt) is guaranteed! Natural Lands cares for more than 23\,000 acres and 120 miles of trails\, and we couldn’t do it without volunteers like you. \nVolunteering with Natural Lands is a great way to learn more about the natural world\, give your time to a great cause\, and connect with enthusiastic\, like-minded people. \nThe health and safety of staff and volunteers is our highest priority during this volunteer event. Please review “before you go” details. \nCapacity is limited for this small-group event. If you sign-up\, please show up. If you need to cancel\, please let us know so another volunteer can attend. All are welcome\, ages 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult and registered in the same transaction as their guardian. \nMeeting Location: 126 Peacedale Rd\, Landenberg\, PA 19350

SUMMARY:First Friday Frolic - waitlisted
DESCRIPTION:This event is full. Please join our waitlist for a chance to attend.   \nTake a hike with Natural Lands. Together\, we’ll get to know other outdoor-loving friends during one of the best seasons at the preserve. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or a beginner\, the trails offer a mix of challenges and rewards for all levels.  \nWe’ll make a few stops along the way to point out preserve highlights and the land management strategies we use to enhance wildlife habitat and facilitate public use.  \nAt the end\, bring out your hammers as we visit the diabase “ringing rocks\,” locally called “the potato patch\,” which make a metallic sound when struck.  \nFulshaw Craeg Preserve is located within the Schuylkill Highlands Conservation Landscape\, a place-based partnership administered by Natural Lands and funded in part by a grant from the Community Conservation Partnerships Program under the administration of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources\, Bureau of Recreation and Conservation.
